Great location to take children. London airport to see planes landing and taking off, the DLR is a bit different to ride on than the tube, Canary Wharf has plenty of places to eat and the Thames barrier was a short walk away. Our room was small but comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was like a high end hotel with its shiny black tiles, huge shower, white suite and chrome plumbing. Fluffy fresh white towels also lovely! Food was great, a free drink at the bar for all of us via the QR code in the room was a lovely start to our stay. Breakfast is always good at HIE. We did feel the staff were incredibly happy and attentive. Nothing was dirty or empty. Credit to the team there. Reception and bar also a really friendly bunch. My husband particularly took to Lina. She made sure he felt special on his birthday, which I thought was a kind touch in a chain hotel. Can’t fault our stay. The Elizabeth line has transformed London for us. Coming in from the West, it literally took 20 mins to the hotel from Paddington. Amazing.

Friendly staff at reception, the bar and staff who greet you at breakfast. Excellent breakfast, the quality is up there with the best hotels I've tried in the UK and its included in the cost of the room 😊. I wasn't expecting the food to be any good but the pizzas are really good. Other food my family members tried got good reviews too. The hotel facilities are good... Nice modern rooms. This hotel is definitely value for money. We have stayed there 3 times and will likely stay again in the future.

From the reception when LINA checked myself and my daughter in, LINA has a good customer relations. To the Bar section, kingsley with the dreadlocks has a good customer relations as well. Also, the breakfast was okay. I and my little princess enjoyed it . Cynthia and Jyoti were very lovely and helped when needed. Very accomodating as well. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed chatting with them every morning. Thanks Cynthia and Jyoti.

We were 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. The sofa was transformed into a bed for kids. So, the room became not spacious. Other than this, we were very much satisfied with the cleanliness, and breakfast. The DLR metro station is within walking distance of the hotel. However, you need to take another underground line (transfer) to go to the city center.

Really good breakfast!-lots of choice, and things were replaced as soon as they ran out. Staff on reception very helpful on check-in, location spot on for getting the DLR train into the city centre-would certainly stay again & would recommend!
